Lordswood is a great place to live with its good schools, safe footpaths and cycle ways, and easy access to the Sports Centre. But at times the beauty is marred by litter.
For the last few years a group of people from Living Lordswood has taken action and once a month meet together and have a sociable time picking up litter. The City Council has supported us by supplying litter picking tools, refuse bags and safety guidelines and arranging to collect the rubbish.
How could you be involved?
Easy! Firstly clink on sign up link so we can send you an occasional reminder and then come along to the next clean up event. Secondly tell your neighbours and friends in the area so that they can be involved too.
Date: Sunday 16th December 2018
Time: 10:45am – 11.45pm meeting outside 128 Oakwood Drive.
Location: To finish the year off we have our usual Christmas sherry and litterwalk, meeting outside 128 Oakwood Drive for a quick tipple before walking around Lordswood picking up litter. The walk will be followed by our usual lunch which your more than welcome to come.
